From the VEGETABLES business unit, we need to incorporate a Territory Sales Manager, based in Haryana..
What will be your Position Purpose:
This position is key to the India market because provides strategy, sales support and manage a Team.
What will be your responsibilities?
- To be responsible for large area either entire state or part of big state, depending on business volume.
- To have direct touch with support departments of company (Accounts, R&D, Logistics, HR etc.)
- To be responsible to take sales orders and payment collections directly from authorised dealers on company behalf.
- To be an official point of contact for dealers in their area.
- To be responsible to communicate any official announcement made from company (Sales policy, price list, account statements etc.), to the dealers.
- Submits Sales forecast, collection plan and promotional strategy for their territory and is directly responsible to achieve it.
- To be directly responsible for distribution network management for their territory.
- To be responsible for inventory management at dealer/retailer points and for supply chain management of all products of company in their area.
- Directly responsible for new variety trials in their area.
- Authorised to do planned and agreed promotional activity in their area on selected crop/variety.
- Authorised to represent company in different trade fairs, government relations and associations related to seed industry at local level.
- Supports on-field assistance in respect of any compliance including seed license requirements, where required.
- Give support to the crop specialists on defining the reference areas by crop, the number of trials within each reference area and the best farmers to conduct the trials.
- Guarantee the trial plan implementation making sure it is perfectly deployed and following all protocols and providing meaningful technical information to crops specialists while evaluating the new varieties

- 5 to 7 years of experience are required to fit in this role
- You do have Availability to Travel around Haryana & depending on requeirement
