13 weeksVaried 12hour shift 36 hours/week guaranteed

Emergency Department consists of 11bed Main ED6bed ED Fast Track and 7bed ED Observation Unit. All ED nurses areexpected to rotate through each of these areas regularly. Inaddition nurses are assigned to Triage Quick Registration CovidTent and Entry Screening. Nurses can expect to be assigned adifferent area at a minimum daily and may be rotated during theirshift depending on the patient volume and needs of theunit.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION

Experience:

  • Must have a minimum of (2) two years of recent ED RNexperience.
  • Must have completed at least onetravel assignment.
  • May be assigned to assistwith COVID testing and/or immunization clinics asneeded.

LicensesCertifications and/or Registration:

  • An active unrestricted AZ State RN license isrequired.
  • Must have American Heart AssociationBLS/BCLS
  • ACLS PALS/ENPC and TNCC arerequired.
  • Must have conscious sedationcertification (Obtained through facility after confirmation$105fee)

EMR System:RPMS experience preferred

Shift: Night Shift positions with a maximumof one (1) RTO if needed. Shifts may change andone may need to cover the day shift or midshift as the facilitydoes rely heavily on contractors so as one leaves someones shiftmay change to accommodate their staffing needs. The schedule istypically 7 on 7 off with 36 hours one week and 48 hours thenext.

Float Requirement:Travelers are occasionally expected to float to other departmentsin which they are qualified to work. This could include taking apatient load if experienced and competent in that setting or couldbe taskoriented such as answering call lights phones etc.

Orientation: On Mondays only If yourtraveler misses the compliance deadline they will pushed to thefollowing Monday. Business casual/scrubs are ok.
