  • Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, equipment, and machinery on the rig.
  • Perform routine inspections and tests of electrical systems to identify and address issues proactively.
  • Assist in troubleshooting electrical problems and implementing solutions to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Assist in the installation and maintenance of lighting, power distribution systems, motors, generators, and control systems.
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Participate in safety meetings, drills, and inspections to maintain a culture of safety on the rig.
  • Assist in emergency response situations as needed, following established protocols and procedures.
  • Follow instructions from supervisors and experienced electricians to carry out assigned tasks effectively.


Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a similar role or electrical training program preferred but not required.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labor in a challenging offshore environment.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions closely.
  • Willingness to work in remote offshore locations on a rotational basis.
