What you’ll be doing

1. Delivers deep technical and repeatable solutions that achieve customer requirements driving positive outcomes.
2. Guides partnerships with business and operational stakeholders to conduct business and technical discovery.
3. Implements robust recommendations, proposals and scope of work documents for group engagements while also identifying critical dependencies and gaps.
4. Delivers the creation of innovative and repeatable solution architectures to resolve a range of complex solution architecture problems and meet agreed requirements.
5. Facilitates business stakeholders' understanding of capabilities and the transformative power of group products, services and technology.
6. Executes alignment with Enterprise Architecture guardrails and solution patterns'
7. Contributes to thought leadership and provides advice on a specific set of technologies to help senior leadership shape the long-term direction of solution architecture strategy
8. Delivers complex, strategic initiatives that are a part of the company's overall commercial strategy
9. Champions, continuously develops and shares with team knowledge on emerging trends and changes in solution architecture

The skills you’ll need

Solution Architecture
Develops solutions which fit within the enterprise architecture in terms of information architecture, system portfolios and integration requirements.
Solution Design
Designs the essential core building block's that make up a technical solution.
System Design
Defines the architecture, product design, modules, interfaces, and data for a system to satisfy specified requirements.
Regulatory Compliance
Develops, implements, and enforces compliance to activities which ensure the organisation meets legislative and regulatory requirements.
APIs/Web Service Integration
Develops message protocols that allow distributed elements of an application to communicate.
Requirements Gathering
Determines user expectations for a new or modified product.
Change Management
Manages changes and developments within teams and the wider organisation.
Cloud Computing
Uses a network of remote servers hosted on the Internet to store, manage, and process data, rather than a local server or a personal computer.
Performance Monitoring
Measures the performance of a given database in real time in order to determine problems and other factors that may cause problems in the future.
Risk Management
Identifies, evaluates and manages risks by developing and implementing strategies, frameworks, policies, procedures and practices.

Gathers information, and analyses different scenarios, assesses alternative resolutions and reaches a decision.
