As an Associate Quality Engineering Manager (SDET), candidate will be predominantly involved in conducting maturity assessments, creating test automation solutions for validating applications across the product stack, conducting tool/solution fitment analysis for existing automation use cases and identify the right tools/solution for building new or enhancing existing automation patterns. The successful candidate will be a primary contributor in developing and implementing test solutions and frameworks for optimization and supporting all types of applications testing and established standard operating procedures, and methodologies to deliver business value. This is more than a challenging role with primary focus on ideating and developing full stack (Web, API and Data) test solutions and capabilities in new age technologies like RPA, Cloud and AI/ML


Primary Responsibilities:

Lead/manage a vibrant team up to 6-8 membersAct as lead technologist in Quality Assurance and Engineering, shaping best practices across tools, processes, and development with an emphasis on automation., rolling out the TCoELead Automation CoE including the following: Plan, Design, Build and Maintain complex Test Automation Frameworks (Data-driven, Keyword, Hybrid, Descriptive programming) using Playwright/ Cypress/Selenium driven, RestAssured, Karate Framework and solutionsCollaborate with project teams to strategize & align long term solution for automation including roadmap, tools, framework & approachDefine automation processes to fill the gaps between the as-is processes and industry standard best practices and pilot the same on selected projectsIdentify and implement Continuous improvement and optimization techniques to reduce waste across the test life cycle driven by data insightsProvide guidance, training and mentoring to project teams and test engineers for the implementation of testing automation processes and best practices as needed
Ensure adherence to the TCoE Automation testing processes and standardsThought leadership - Good understanding of creating POVs/white papers, technical documentation and should to enthusiastic presenter/participant at tech talks/seminars and knowledge sharing sessions etc.Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

9+ years of experience in Quality engineering/automation Testing Good experience working with modern web technologies (React, Angular, AEM) and integration systems (API/Microservices) and cloud hosted health care platforms like facets, interoperability services Solid hands-on experience in implementing test frameworks/ solution for web, Desktop and API using market leading and open-source tools across the application stack (Playwright /Selenium/Test Complete/Katalon/ Rest Assured, Ready API or Custom solutions using Spring Boot / Spring Application Framework,)Hands-on experience in conducting maturity assessments, Gap Analysis and build roadmap to improve overall of maturity of the testing which includes functional (includes automation) and non-functional testing across the STLC Hands-on experience in Relational/ NoSQL Databases including MS SQL, MongoDB etc. with ability to write complex queries/Stored ProceduresExperience working on Cloud based applications (Azure Preferred) and cloud test platforms like sauce labs, browser stack Experience in managing automation code using standard Code repository tools (Git/GitHub or SVN etc.) and implementing Continuously integration using Jenkins / Circle CI or any other market toolExperience in creating test strategy and test plans for large transformation/migration programs or product developmentExperience in performance testing - workload modelling, Load, Stress and endurance testing using JMeter/Load runner as load testing tools and Dynatrace or any other performance monitoring tool Test Automation - Experience with test automation framework development and Implementation using prominent design patterns - Robot /BDD/Hybrid or Data Driven Frameworks Continuous improvements and Optimization - Experience in implementing Continuous improvements and optimization techniques by deriving data insights using standard measurement framework and Life Cycle automation using Lean Principles Solid US Health Care Payer domain knowledge In-depth understanding of mainstream and emerging technology standards and advancements in software test automationLead or managed high-performance team of 5-8 membersEffective written and verbal communication skills - Ability to document automation framework, test harnesses, coding principles & standardsTeam player; Technology enthusiast and effective communication


Preferred Qualifications:

Solid coding skills in Java Script & Java and Python Exposure working on any of the RPA tools (UI Path/ Automation Anywhere etc.) and Machine Learning Algorithms
