Key Responsibilities:

  • Tender Management:
    • Oversee and manage the entire tendering process for JBSS, with a strong focus on GeM tenders.
    • Identify relevant tender opportunities, ensuring alignment with the company’s capabilities and growth strategy.
    • Prepare and submit tender proposals, ensuring compliance with guidelines and deadlines.
    • Handle tender documentation, price bids, and technical bids, coordinating with internal teams to gather required information.
  • Government e-Marketplace (GeM):
    • Leverage expertise in the GeM platform to monitor, respond to, and manage tenders effectively.
    • Ensure all tender processes on GeM are followed accurately and submitted within deadlines.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the Director and internal teams to ensure all tenders are accurate, competitive, and complete.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including sales, finance, and legal, to gather and verify tender-specific data.
  • Market Analysis:
    • Research market trends and opportunities to strategically position JBSS in relevant tenders.
    • Track and analyze competitor submissions and pricing to ensure JBSS remains competitive.
  • Post-Tender Follow-Up:
    • Maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders after tender submissions, following up on outcomes and any post-tender clarifications.

Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, or related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in tendering, specifically on GeM (Government e-Marketplace).
  • Strong understanding of tender processes, both government and private sector.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in tender documentation and bid preparation.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
