Job purpose :

To Carry out the auditof branches / departmentsetc

KEYRESPONSIBILITIES

  • Allocationof Audits within theteam.
  • Visitbranches/departments during/post Audit for review andfinalization.
  • Review of auditreports submitted by the senior auditors across business functions.
  • Keep himself/herselfupdated on Regulatory guidelines in the area ofaudit.
  • Keep himself/herselfupdated on the management directives/benchmarks assigned tobusiness/operations unit from time totime.
  • Discussion of auditobservations with Circle Head/Zonal Head/Department Head/BBH forAudit reports having serious /critical lapses where process gapsexpose the Bank to risk and reports which would require a downgradeof audit rating.
  • Release low riskaudit reports as per delegation matrix released byGHAudit.
  • To carry out spotaudits.
  • Responsible for TAT(Audit completion Report submission forrelease).
  • Monitoring Auditdatabaseupdation.
  • Review of thecompliance from the auditee and recommend for closure of auditfile.
  • Review of UATs/systemenhancement/process reviews and recommend for auditcertification.
  • Carrying out specialreviews/investigations (if any) assigned by the corporateoffice.
  • Recommend for changein processes (as and when warranted and identified during his/hercourse of Auditreview).
  • Review extant auditprocedures basis exceptions identified during Audit review andrecommend revision to audit methodology/Scope of review (includingrevision of Standard AuditProcedures).
  • Preparation of ACB /Board notes for theteam.
  • Teambuilding/recruitment to ensure the team is staffed as per budgetallocated (including conducting ofinterviews).
  • Training junior/newmembers (including classroom and on the jobtraining).
  • Carry outadministrative activities (including approving of leave conveyanceetc.) forauditors.
  • Carry out performanceappraisal of the auditors (jointly with the superior/ZonalHead/Regional HeadAudit).
  • Acting as a backup tothe Zonal Head/Regional HeadAudit.

KeySkills

  • Shouldhave an analytical bent of mind meticulous detailed researchoriented approach for rootcause analysis of the problems/issuesidentified
  • A problem solvingapproach to add value/guidance/support to business/functions tobring operational efficiency/maximize resourceutilization
  • Should have excellentcommand on MS office especially MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Person havingknowledge of related areas of operations/RBI guidelines on bankingoperations would bepreferred

EducationalQualifications

  • CommerceGraduate
  • MBA(Finance)
  • Semi qualified CA /CA

ExperienceRequired

10 to 12 yearsexperience in relatedfields
