About the team

The Treasury team acts as 1st LoD and is at the forefront of driving financial excellence and supporting strategic growth. The Treasury team mission is to optimise the company's financial resources and investment, manage financial risks, ensure robust liquidity and effective cash management and comprehensive treasury operations.

Moreover the team collaborates closely with the product and business team to align financial strategies with business objectives. By contributing to impactful financial decisions, the Treasury team aims to enable sustainable success and growth.

About the role

As the Treasury manager, you will play a crucial role in the team to maintain our financial health, ensure efficient treasury operations, and drive our growth. Your responsibilities will include:

Liquidity and capital management Serve as the Treasury Subject-Matter-Expert for regulatory requirements and local financial opportunities.Perform weekly, monthly, and quarterly cash forecasts, analysing variances and trends.Evaluate local funding needs and capital requirements, collaborating with Group Treasury to optimise for these needs. Cash management: Manage and monitor wholesale credit limits to ensure adequate liquidity for operations while minimising counterparty risk.for Tide’s entity in India. Managing relationships with partner banks: Build and maintain strong relationships with local banking partners.Supervise the Know Your Customer (KYC) process.Ensure banking relationships comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Payments/transfers execution and collateral management: Execute and oversee all payment and transfer activities.Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with relevant policies.Manage collateral requirements, including monitoring collateral positions.

What we are looking for 

Tide is seeking an experienced and visionary Lead of Treasury Operation. The ideal candidate will have:

Minimum of 7 years of experience with Treasury Operations and Cash ManagementPrior experience in financial services – preferably in technology-driven & scale-up environments preferredStrong knowledge of cash-flow forecasting, flow of funds and payment systemsSelf-starter, independent and extreme ownership mentalityExperience overseeing controls and mitigating operational and financial riskExperience with SAP Cash Management systemExperience utilising BI reporting tools (Looker/Power BI/Tableau etc) is desirableExperience working within a dynamic and strong paced environment Experience in managing and leading operations across multiple locations and countriesExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills
