Job Summary


The Treasury and Credit Manager will be responsible for assessing, monitoring, planning, and managing the efficient utilization of cash and financial services in line with the company's objectives.


This role will involve driving financial management within the company, working closely with third-party service providers as required.


Key Responsibilities



  2. Proactively manage the credit of entire customer portfolios across all businesses.
  3. Work on credit proposals for new and existing customers, with appropriate payment terms based on risk assessment.
  4. Closely work with the commercial team to ensure daily sales outstanding (DSO) is maintained as per guidelines.
  5. Agree payment plans with customers and ensure adherence.
  6. Stay updated on new credit management techniques and practices.
  7. Liaise and communicate with internal departments as required to maintain accurate customer accounts.
  8. Forecast cash flow positions, related borrowing needs, and available funds for investment.
  9. Ensure sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements.
  10. Evaluate long-term borrowing strategies and make recommendations in line with capital structure guidelines.
  11. Drive working capital improvements for the company as a whole.
  12. Ensure credit rating for company-owned debts.
  13. Monitor activities of third-party handlers of outsourced treasury functions on behalf of the company.
  14. Maintain a system of policies and procedures that impose an adequate level of control over treasury activities.
  15. Liaise with insurance brokers for timely renewal of insurance policies.
  16. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to collect required details for policy renewal.
  17. Lead compliance with all banking and FEMA-related filings to ensure a risk-free environment for the business.
  18. Responsible for compiling relevant information for applicable audits and liaising with auditors as necessary.

Qualifications and Requirements


CA or MBA with experience in a varied treasury and credit environment, preferably with a global or international perspective.


5+ years of experience in treasury and credit, with a strong understanding of financial markets, instruments, and regulations.


Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
