Your Role
Job description
RM primary goal is to contribute to the development of Power Technique India so as to achieve sustainable profitable inclusive growth of PT products in the defined territory.
As Regional Manager, you have responsibility for sales operations & designing & implementing marketing strategies within your region. You will drive the business with focus on growth and profitability, as well as finding business synergies, building new businesses and creating new options. You will act as a facilitator as well as challenger to your sales and service teams.
We expect you to further develop and improve performance in terms of sales, profitability and capital efficiency for your operation, and you shall in addition to that:
Mission
Achievement of your targets for Orders Invoiced & Orders received along with other KPI’s as defined from time to time
Increase local profitability and organisational efficiency to be fit for the future
Assure success in our ambition to grow market share for all products and also customer share for PT CC India using ‘out-of-box’ thinking & calculated risks through Direct & indirect channels.
Further develop the business by the continuous development and implementation of territory management plans and use of Customer Relationship Management system
Work collaboratively with various internal and external stakeholders – BLM, Regional Service Manager, MarCom manager, Marketing team, PC & Logistics team, dealerships & their teams.
Provide support on brand positioning in line with the strategy of PT BA
Increase customer satisfaction by putting actions in place for improvement needs as revealed in NPS surveys (and/or via other channels)
Focus on customer centricity by having a good understanding of their expectations and needs and strive for keeping Atlas Copco First in Mind-First in Choice.
Safeguard a safe and healthy working environment in your Region
As a people manager, you need to actively contribute in developing PT CC India’s organisation in order to be able to attract, develop and retain the right people.
Increase employee satisfaction by putting actions in place for improvement needs as revealed in INSIGHT surveys in your Region
Safety consideration needs to be ingrained into all Regional colleagues so as to be uppermost in their minds whether at work or in personal life.
You need to actively appoint new dealers to increase reach & ensure highest customer satisfaction & also terminate the non-performing ones(in co-ordination with BLM & GM)
Control of functional costs in your Region
Work closely with Business Controller/Credit Controller to have receivables within defined Targets
Actively participate with Market Communications to increase our market visibility
Timely conducting of Appraisals for all your team in coordination with HR Manager
Provide inspirational leadership (internally and externally) within your operating domain.
Safeguard implementation and application of internal processes in accordance with “The way we do things” and make sure to fulfil the corporate governance standards, including environmental and ethical standards, of the Atlas Copco group including the Code of Conduct is adhered to in your domain.
The position requires regular domestic travel & frequent interaction with Customers, Dealers , Sales team and Business Line Manager.

We are looking for a person with 10 to 15 years of proven performance in Solid Sales experience leading a team – preferably direct & indirect sales professionals. Mining or Construction equipment related experience is a plus.
Knowledge
Good knowledge of the Construction and Mining Products and Applications. Sales and Marketing experience of construction equipment’s, Compressors, Hydraulic/Pneumatic Tools would be an added advantage.
Clear vision and ability to achieve results with action plans deriving from a solid strategic platform.
Good commercial and technical competence in order to command customer respect
Educational requirements
