The ideal candidate will have successfully built and managed products in the network space. You are able to synthesize a variety of technologies and capabilities and translate them into products that solve specific pain-points. You are analytical and data driven, and are laser focused on measuring and improving the success of products you own. You have a bias for action, being familiar with methods and approaches needed to get things done in a collaborative, transforming environment. In addition, you respond effectively to complex and ambiguous problems and situations.

Role of the Technical Product Owner

The Technical Product Owner is responsible for ensuring our engineering teams are delivering products that meet our customers' requirements and are stable, reliable, and scalable. You will be part of a team responsible for defining and building a core set of products related to our transformation in building out our Network, including critical Wireless transports, IoT Networking Solutions, WAN, LAN, and Perimeter.

In addition to participating in product road mapping and backlog grooming sessions, you will form relationships with our customer base to ensure their feedback is being integrated into product roadmaps and feature work, while balancing these requirements with the internal needs of the team. With all of Maersk’s engineers using our products on a day-to-day basis, this job will have a high degree of visibility into our engineering organization.

Key Responsibilities

Customer centric: Capturing voice of business/customers End to end product management – conducting user/market research, defining the product vision and business value, creating product roadmaps, managing product launches, and analyzing product performance and value realization Oversight of the network product portfolio, including balancing feature requests, tech debt, architectural changes in a prioritized backlog to direct engineering teams to create the best product Work and coordinate with various teams including engineering, design, project management, to ensure the successful development, launch and ongoing management of the product Manage the prioritization of the backlog Work across the enterprise to gather feedback and requirements. Act as a key stakeholder in all agile practices Build relationships with key stakeholders to ensure products are being built and delivered to meet customer demands

Key Skills

14+ years of product management, engineering, or related experience Experience in designing, developing, and delivering successful networking products/services Strong written and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to influence senior leadership through data driven insights and communicate to diverse types of stakeholders (leadership, engineering teams, internal development teams) Demonstrated business acumen with understanding how to identify and monitor key performance metrics to ensure product performance and identify optimization opportunities A flexible and pragmatic approach and the ability to lead and navigate through transformative change Self-starter, with a strong drive for results, taking accountability for significantly improved outcomes Experience working with scrum and agile methodologies Bonus: experience with integrating network products post acquisitions
