Sr. Principal Analog Design Engineer

onsemi is seeking a Senior Principal Analog Design Engineer for Image Sensors Group to join our growing team in Bengaluru, India. This group is responsible for development of image sensors for industrial, consumer, and automotive applications. In this role, you will focus on the following

Complete analog design and verification ownership of analog hard macro, including planning and execution across multiple products. Hands-on design and verification of block-level and top-level schematics for 1D and 2D stacked image sensors. Collaborate with the digital, physical design, packaging team for delivering a quality product. Collaborate with the Process Development Kit (PDK) team, as well as the digital and physical integration teams, to enable the seamless integration of the analog hard macro into the chip. Work with the design team manager for resource allocations, and proactively address workflow, resource, and design issues. Work closely with the analog design and verification team on scheduling tasks, guiding them in the implementation, and reviews. Maintain documentation and checklists for deliverables as per the New Product Development (NPD) flow. Develop methods to improve efficiency in verification processes. Contribute to the overall success of the team by actively participating in design review sessions, providing valuable insights, and maintaining effective communication within the team from a design and verification perspective.

Minimum Requirements

BE in Electrical Engineering or related 15+ years of experience, or MS 13+ years of experience in Analog and Mixed signal designs

Qualification  

Expert-level knowledge in analog mixed-signal design. Expert-level knowledge of analog and mixed signal design flow, having handled multiple tape-outs either as an individual contributor or lead. Proficiency in scripting languages such as SKILL, Shell/Perl/Python/TCL is highly desired. Expert-level knowledge in low noise amplifier, ADCs are preferred. Expert-level knowledge in Voltage doublers, LDOs, Voltage and current DACs are preferred. Experience in image sensors is a plus. Excellent communication skills with a collaborative and team-oriented mindset. Ability to quickly adapt to new systems and processes.
