Our client, a leading and eminent manufacturer and exporter of Indian grown Organic Cotton and Yarn headquarter in Sindhu bhavan Road Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

 

Position: Audit & Litigation controller

 

Total Exp: 4 years

 

Edu: CA

 

Location: Bodakdev

 

Internal Audit Description: 

1. Perform and control the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations' effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations

2. Determine internal audit scope and develop annual plans Obtain, analysis and evaluate accounting documentation, previous reports, data, flowcharts etc

3. Prepare and present reports that reflect audit's results and document process.

4. Review audit work papers and audit reports.

5. Help implement process changes and new technologies required to update or otherwise improve financial and operational performance, asset management, and risk controls

6. Ensure the audit is performed according to department standards, staying within the scope and resource allocation limits (hours and timeline), and meet stated assigned objectives

7. Documents and evaluates business processes and internal controls.

Internal Control & Process system:

1. Understanding the Current working of the Organization.

2. Defining SOP for the Ideal Process Flow for Entity for Each of the Department

3. Defining Roles & Responsibilities of the Staff members

4. Documenting the Process Flow for each of the Department and Roles for each of the Staff Member so that to streamline the Work Flow.

5. Defining Approval and reporting Mechanism.

 

Litigation Related Description: 

1. Reviewing Notice/Orders and responding to them by way of the following: Analyzing available information & preparing checklist to acquire necessary data/documents from client. Researching & scrutinizing all aspects of the assignment with the team to ideate and provide optimal solutions. Preparation of necessary responses against notices issued.

2. Experience in Reviewing the orders passed by tax authorities and suggesting necessary

Outcome and remedies and drafting replies to them.

3. Assist in CIT(A) / ITAT, preparing case for opinion, briefing counsel, and Draft submissions for scrutiny & appeals in all matters relating to Corporate Direct Taxation as well as Indirect taxes.

4. Explore alternative tax dispute resolution avenues.

5. Assist in preparation of advance ruling application and provide support for representation before the Authority for Advance Rulings (AAR).

6. Assist counsels or consultants in preparing/representing appeals/petitions before high courts and Supreme Court.

7. Handling all Litigations relating to business operations and other contracts executed for business purpose.

8. Performing Internal Audit on regular basis and advising Management and Staff

9. Documents and evaluates business processes and internal controls.

10. Routine Additional task related to the role will be allocated based on the necessities required.

General Work relating to above profile: -

1. Arranging financial audits and reviews as required.

2.Assisting in filing GST, TDS returns and litigation related work.

3. Finalization and Filing of Income tax return of promoters

4. Verification of transactions of All Companies on regular intervals from Litigation point of view.

5. Manage general administrative & govt. compliance filings of the company by coordinating with various consultants.

6. Preparing & Analyzing Monthly MIS with Management relating to Audit & Litigations.
