Equipment Maintenance Technician(C02XN6)

Location: KinstonNC

Duration: 6 Months

Description:

Responsibilities:

Perform repairs and maintenance in plant or officefacilities or on machines and equipment

Performdisassembly and assembly of complex machinery necessary toaccomplish assignment to maintain flow of operations

Perform root/cause analysis in support of reliabilityprocesses and collaborate with vendors engineering customers othercrafts and management to solve equipment problems and developcorrective action

Tests inspects troubleshootsand repairs machines and equipment. Uses blueprints sketcheslayouts wiring diagrams drawings and specifications

Move and place in correct position heavy equipment realproperty and installed property in accordance with establishedmethods

Prepare machine foundations assemblestructures and install floor and overhead conveyingequipment

Accomplish all necessaryrigging.

PreferredQualifications:

Be proficientmaintaining repairing programming and troubleshooting industrialPCs CNCs and PLCs

PLC programming knowledge andexperience with ladder logic function block and statementlist

Possess a working knowledge of machinegeometry / alignment using lasers and other precision measuringtools

Ability to and understand engineeringdrawings

Working knowledge of industrialelectronics pneumatics mechanics hydraulics and structuralmaintenance

Ability to troubleshoot and repairelectrical mechanical pneumatic and hydraulic equipment

Ability to operate computers maintenance diagnosticequipment including analog and digital multimeters oscilloscopespyrometers phototachometer ultrasonic leak detectors vibrationanalysis thermography etc.

Ability to work inconfined areas and high places

Experience withmachine assembly machine builds installations mechanical generalmachine shop tools electrical wiring bearings and alignmenttechniques

Excellent analytical skills and ademonstrated understanding of electrical and mechanical machinecontrols and drive systems. Conducts routine periodic or specialinspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary toprevent breakdowns of facilities machinery and equipment

Requirements:

2 years of CNC PLC & electrical controlsexperience required

AllCandidates must pass The WorkKeys Assessment

Candidate must be available to work any shift.Primarily 2nd (Starts at 3 PM) and 3rd shift (Starts at 11PM)

8 hr. shift with OT ifbusiness demands
