Sustainability Business Analyst JobResponsibilities:
Strong experience of playingSustainability Business Analyst / Research Analyst /Reporting
Analyst roles for global clients helping withdelivery of Sustainability and ESG
ReportingProjects
Collaborates with project sponsors to determineproject scope and define scope boundaries for
sustainability and ESG reporting requirements.
Clearlyidentifies project stakeholders and establish customer / end userpersonas as well as
their key reportingrequirements.
Elicits analyzes specifies and validatesthe ESG Sustainability Reporting and
Visualizationbusiness requirements from stakeholders / customers / endusers.
Conducts interviews with key users to define ESG/ Sustainability requirements KPIs and Metrics
viaworkshops questionnaires surveys site visits workflow storyboardsuse cases scenarios
and other methods.
Workswith stakeholders and project team to prioritize collectedrequirements.
Participates in the Function TestingSystem Integration Testing(SIT) and User Acceptance
Testing(UAT) of reports delivered to ensure features and functionshave been developed as
per specifications.
Analyzes and verifies ESG / Sustainability requirements and testscenarios / test cases for
completeness consistencycomprehensibility feasibility and conformity to standardsspecific
to the BI tool being used for delivering thereporting requirements.
Develops and utilizes standardtemplates to accurately and concisely write requirements
specifications.
Translates conceptual customerrequirements into functional reporting requirements in aclear
manner that is comprehensible to developers andproject team as well as carries out required
dataanalysis / data mapping activity
Creates process modelsspecifications diagrams and charts to provide direction todevelopers
and/or the project team.
Developsand conducts peer reviews of the functional reporting requirementsto ensure that
requirement specifications are correctlyinterpreted.
Assists with the articulation of customerrequirements into feasible options driven by the BI /
Reporting tool used for delivering the requirements andcommunicates them back to the
businessstakeholders.
Manages and tracks the status ofrequirements throughout the project lifecycle; enforcesand
redefines as necessary.
Communicateschanges enhancements and modifications of business requirementsverbally
and through written documentation to keyproject stakeholders including project managers
sponsorsand other stakeholders so that issues and solutions are understoodand required
change management processes areenforced.
Business Analyst Qualifications /Skills:
Able to exercise independent judgment and takeaction on it
Excellent analytical mathematical andcreative problemsolving skills
Excellent listeninginterpersonal written and oral communication skills
Logical and efficient with keen attention to detail
Highly selfmotivated and directed
Strong customerservice orientation
Experience working in a teamorientedcollaborative and global environment
Excellent MS Officeknowledge (Ms Excel / Power Point / Visio) Exposure to any of the BI / Reporting / Visualization tools likePower BI / Tableau / Qlikview /
