Description

The Regulatory Adherence Associate will be responsible for the governance of Regulatory Assurance and Reporting across CB, IB and CRU including supporting the delivery of risk and control initiatives and participating in risk and control activities. They will work closely with Operations across multiple products and locations to ensure the Regulatory Reporting inventory is maintained with visibility of Regulatory submissions provided to senior management, as well as working on innovation and automation initiatives. The role will also include supporting the annual Regulatory Reporting attestation, and the Regulatory Reporting data framework to strengthen the quality of data submitted to our Regulators. It may also include control testing, self-assessments, and other ad hoc control relates initiatives and projects.

Additionally, the Associate will be required to assess new Regulations aligned to CB Ops & Branches, communicate the changes to Operations and coordinate the completion of impact assessments, tracking the completion of the events through the Regulatory lifecycle to compliance date.

The candidate will primarily be supporting the APAC region.

Your key responsibilities

The Regulatory Adherence Associate will be responsible for the governance of Regulatory Assurance and Reporting across CB, IB and CRU including supporting the delivery of risk and control initiatives and participating in risk and control activities.

Your skills and experience

Regulatory experience is preferred but not necessary.  The candidate should be able to navigate Microsoft applications including SharePoint as well as Tableau.
