The role involves interacting with clientsvendors and banks while handling all key accountingresponsibilities including GST filing and accountfinalization.
- Maintainaccurate records of vouchers invoices payments andtransactions.
- Oversee daytodayaccounting operations including bookkeeping account reconciliationand ledger maintenance.
- Prepare andissue invoices and follow up on pendingpayments.
- Manage all bankingactivities including NEFT RTGS cheque payments and other paymentmodes.
- Communicate with clients andvendors through phone calls or emails regarding payment andaccountrelated queries.
- Handle thepreparation and filing of GST returns ensuring compliance with allstatutory regulations.
- Prepare andmaintain profit and loss statements balance sheets and otherfinancial reports.
- Assist in thefinalization of accounts and support auditprocesses.
- Manage the company sfixed asset ledger and ensure proper accounting for fixedassets.
- Handle other financialactivities and tasks as assigned bymanagement.
Requirements
- Bachelorsdegree in Accounting Finance or a relatedfield.
- Articleship completion from arecognized Chartered Accountant (CA) firm is highlypreferred.
- Minimum of 23 years ofexperience in accounting preferably in a similarrole.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principlesfinancial reporting and tax regulations especially GSTcompliance.
- Proficiency inaccounting software (e.g. Tally QuickBooks orsimilar).
- Excellent communicationskills for liaising with clients vendors and financialinstitutions.
- Attention to detailand accuracy in work with strong organizationalskills.
- Ability to workindependently handle multiple tasks and meetdeadlines.
- Candidateswho have completed articleship in a CA firm arepreferred.
- Proficient in handlingGST filings and TDS.
- Strongunderstanding of bank reconciliation and auditprocesses.
- Proficiency in paymentprocessing methods including NEFT RTGS andcheques.
Key Responsibilities: Compliance: Adhere to all company, local,state, and federal accounting and financial regulations. TaxHandling: Manage GST filings (GSTR 1 & GSTR 3B), TDS filings,and Income Tax filings (ITR 1 to ITR 7). Financial Reporting:Compile, analyze, and report financial data. Create periodicreports such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements.Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financialrecords. Audit Operations: Perform audits, identify and resolvediscrepancies. Tax Calculations: Compute taxes owed, ensure timelypayment. Regulatory Awareness: Stay informed about currentlegislation relating to finance and accounting.
