ServiceNowAdmin JobDescriptionOverview:TheServiceNow Admin plays a critical role in managing and maintainingthe ServiceNow platform ensuring its smooth operation andimplementing solutions to optimize its performance and usability.They are responsible for configuring customizing and supportingServiceNow applications and modules to meet the organizationsneeds. This role is essential in ensuring effective IT servicedelivery and support processes.KeyResponsibilities:
- Configure andcustomize ServiceNow applications and modules based on businessrequirements
- Ensure smooth operation andmaintenance of the ServiceNowplatform
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teamsto implement ServiceNow solutions andintegrations
- Conduct testing debugging andtroubleshooting of ServiceNowapplications
- Create and maintain technicaldocumentation related to ServiceNow configurations andcustomizations
- Monitor and optimize theperformance of ServiceNow applications
- Developand maintain ServiceNow reports anddashboards
- Provide support training andguidance to end users
- Implement and maintainServiceNow ITIL processes and bestpractices
- Participate in ServiceNow upgrade andenhancement projects
- Stay updated withServiceNow trends and bestpractices
- Collaborate with vendors and supportteams to resolve ServiceNow technicalissues
- Contribute to ServiceNow governance andcompliance initiatives
- Participate in theevaluation and selection of ServiceNow plugins andapplications
- Assist in ServiceNow platformarchitecture and design
- Bachelors degree inComputer Science Information Technology or relatedfield
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator(CSA) certification
- 3 years of experience inServiceNow administration andconfiguration
- Proficient in scripting languagessuch as JavaScript HTML CSS or Jelly
- Strongunderstanding of ITIL frameworks andpractices
- Experience in ServiceNow integrationand development
- Excellent problemsolving andanalytical skills
- Ability to prioritize andmanage multiple tasks in a fastpacedenvironment
- Strong communication andcollaboration abilities
- Knowledge of databasemanagement and web technologies
- Experience inworking with relational databases andSQL
- Understanding of enterprise IT servicemanagement
- Knowledge of ServiceNow bestpractices and methodologies
- Ability to adapt tonew technologies and learn quickly
