Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

Job Purpose

Perform daily position reconciliation between Cash Balancing report & Vault Cash Balance report received from custodians. Review and Control all Cash In Transit (CIT) activities including ATM Accounts, cash replenishments, returned cash, Cash requests and Cash in custody in CIT vaults Experience in banking or merchant acquiring teams and Knowledge of scheme settlement processes.

Key Accountabilities

Review daily reporting from vendors to ensure correct and timely data. Processing of merchants payments. Knowledge of scheme settlement processe . Review, Monitor and govern the ATM reconciliation reports received from Recon Vendor. Confirm Vault balances and identify exceptions. Confirm overall cash position of each vault cash provider, identifying cash in ATMs, cash in Vaults, Cash in transit, and over/short positions. Identify ATM out of balances, track and resolve such items. Prepare various reports for Management such as Out of balance counts and performance. Ensure adherence to Regulatory, Risk and Control requirements Work with a team of highly motivated individuals and motivate, drive towards operational excellence Maintain high standards of employee engagement with clear and transparent two-way feedback

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Payments Related 

Demonstrate good analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify cause and effect and communicate results in a structured manner Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word and Access Highly Proficient in Microsoft Excel Strong PC skills including proficient typing and keyboard skills Work with a team of highly motivated individuals and motivate, drive towards operational excellence Maintain high standards of employee engagement with clear and transparent two-way feedback Ensure adherence to Regulatory requirements Adhere to Risk and Control Standards and avoid any breach of KRIs/ KPIs Ensure mandatory training hours are achieved and met Incident / Dispute Escalation

Required Experience

Graduate/ Postgraduate . Should have 3 – 6 years of relevant experience in Reconciliation, Scheme / Merchant settlement  Excellent verbal and written communication Strong analytical skills, detail orientation, service commitment, solid organizational and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment, prioritizes multiple tasks and meets strict deadlines Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications. Strong MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint skills required Prior experience on ATM CASH Reconciliation preferred Basic Knowledge of Banking Regulation (KYC) & Internal Control Guidelines 

Education / Preferred Qualification

Minimum of graduation from recognised university
