We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.
In this role, you will:
Skilled in x86 server technologies – in particular the vendors Dell, Lenovo and HPE. Knowledge of Windows and Linux servers/ Operating Systems. Knowledge of server Hardware, Firmware, Virtual and physical servers. Experience in reviewing hardware quotation and hardware specification. Appreciation and understanding of general network technologies - TCP/IP, Network Switches Skilled in working in a multi team and multi cultural environment. Appreciation and understanding of Data Centre Technology. Good written and oral communication Skills to communicate with the Global Stakeholders. RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements
Work on smart orders for Validating the technical requirements and ensuring only certified components and bundles are approved. Review project requirement at design document and examine if the requested hardware could fulfill the requirement. Input and monitor the cost approval tasks for purchasing windows/ Linux / ESX servers, Extra disks/ Memories of the servers. Raising the Delivery with the corresponding location and track the Delivery and inform the Engineers to get the servers installed once the Hardware is delivered. Report progress and identify and raise any issues/risks, escalating as appropriate to enable satisfactory resolution. Having weekly meetings with the vendors like Dell, Lenovo to discuss about open orders, orders shipped, and orders delivered. Having knowledge on tools like Confluence, Jira to collaborate with the team to share knowledge about the process and procedures and to work on user stories in Jira. Having basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel to work on several reports and saving them in the team SharePoint Looking only for Pune/Hyderabad.We have other current jobs related to this field that you can find below
