Objectives:1.Financial Compliance: Execute and oversee statutory audit tax auditand ensure adherence to GST regulations and compliance withAccounting Standards.2. Bookkeeping andGeneral Ledger: Ensure accurate and timely bookkeeping for generalledgers accounts payables accounts receivables and bankingtransactions. Conduct regular interbranch and intercompanyreconciliations.3. Monthend Closure:Participate in the monthly closure of books of accounts accordingto prescribed guidelines and deadlines.4.Treasury and Forex Management: Manage treasury operations includingforeign exchange risk management and recommend booking of forwardcontracts as necessary.5. Internal Controland Accuracy: Enhance internal control measures to improve accuracyin financial entries and reports.6.Accounting System Management: Implement update and maintainaccounting systems and processes to meet evolving businessneeds.7. Revenue Reconciliation: Reconcilerevenue statements and proactively identifydiscrepancies.8. Cost Control: Work on costcontrol measures to optimize financialperformance.9. Payroll management: Ensureontime payroll in compliance with statutoryrequirements.Responsibilities:1.Supervision of Bookkeeping: Oversee daily bookkeeping activitiesensuring accurate entries for general ledgers accounts payablesaccounts receivables and bankingtransactions.2. InterBranch/InterCompanyReconciliation: Perform periodic reconciliations between branchesand companies to ensure financialaccuracy.3. Monthly Provisions andReconciliations: Review and validate working papers related tomonthly provisions prepaid items unbilled revenue and reconcilebank statements.4. Forward ContractsManagement: Review and maintain forward contracts booked withbankers ensuring appropriate accounting entries aremade.5. Forex Risk Management: Keep a dailywatch on forex market movements liaise with bankers and recommendbooking of forward contracts to mitigaterisks.6. GST Reconciliation: Oversee GSTreconciliation statements and collaborate with stakeholders toensure accurate GST credits are reflected on the GSTportal.AdHoc Assignments: Execute any adhocassignments as directed by the management to support the financialgoals of theorganization.
