The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the firm, providing strategic financial guidance, and ensuring the overall financial health of the organisation. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the asset management industry, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record in financial planning, analysis, and management. This is a contract position requiring a commitment of 6 Months.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Financial Planning: Develop and implement financial strategies to support the firm's long-term goals and objectives.
  • Financial Management: Oversee the firm's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Investment Oversight: Provide financial oversight and strategic input on investment decisions, portfolio management, and performance analysis.
  • Capital Management: Manage the firm's capital structure, funding, and liquidity to optimise financial performance and support growth initiatives.
  • Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to stakeholders, including the board of directors, investors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior management, investors, and external partners to communicate the firm's financial performance and strategy.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, CA is a must.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a senior financial leadership role, preferably within the asset management or financial services industry.
  • Expertise: Strong knowledge of financial planning, analysis, and management principles, with a deep understanding of asset management operations and investment strategies.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and inspire a high-performing finance team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance within the asset management industry.
  • Technology Proficiency: Proficiency in financial software and systems, including ERP and reporting tools.
