Management Accountant

Are you ready to take your career to the next level? SHL are seeking an experienced and motivated Management Accountant to join our Financial Control - Cost Team. In this crucial role, you will aid the Financial Controller - Costs with all aspects of cost accounting preparation and control, ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of month-end and year-end costs and the associated Balance Sheet. You will collaborate closely with the FP&A team and other business stakeholders, contributing to our financial health and operational success.

What you will be doing:
Support period end recording and reporting of costs in compliance with SHLs policies, relevant accounting standards and other applicable regulations in line with published timetable for all business units Prepare relevant balance sheet reconciliations accurately, completely and in line with agreed timetable Support Financial Controller – Costs in maintaining a strong financial control environment with appropriate processes and compliance for all cost streams Support the group team in all relevant aspects of the group and local audits to ensure timely audit completion and submission of financial statements Support Financial Controller – Costs in preparing monthly cost analysis and answer to queries from the business and other areas of Finance
What we are looking for from you:
Essential:
Previous cost experience in a finance controllership team IFRS Experience Experience preparing cost analysis and other month end reports
Desirable: Experience preparing and posting journals Flexibility to work EMEA and US hours as needed each month. Get in touch:
