Job description
  • 3 to 6 years of experience in Information Technology withexpertise in test automation of applications from UI and APIlayer
  • Candidate should have hands onexperience of writing maintaining automated UI and APIs testswritten in Java JavaScript Python using various opensource testinglibraries like Selenium Sikuli Cypress REST Assured etc
  • Hands on experience in OOPs languages like Java andscripting languages like Python PerlShell Bash etc
  • Experience with API and Microservices testing andautomation
  • Knowledge and experience with TestDriven DevelopmentTDDBehavior Driven DevelopmentBDD with a testingframework like Cucumber JBehave
  • Hands onexperience with one or more querying languages such SQL preferredOracle MySQL andor No SQL databases Cassandra MongoDBetc
  • Experience of working with various AWScloud services such as EC2 s3 bucket AWS code pipelineCloudFormation etc
  • Experience deployingapplications in AWS or OpenShift Kubernetes
  • Hands on experience in automating backend REST servicesincluding writing custom functions using tools such as Postman RESTAssured Karate Cypress Ready API etc
  • Hands onexperience of building test automation framework from ground upusing modular framework and design pattern like Page Object Modeldesign pattern POM etc
  • Experience of workingin distributed agile teams using agile frameworks such as SCRUMSAFe XP etc
  • Hands on experience of workingwith continues integration tools such Jenkins Circle CI
  • Able to independently create and maintain automation testjobs using tools such as Jenkins
  • Hands onexperience working with source code management tools such as GitLabGitHub AWS Code Commit etc
  • Hands on experienceof creating test reports from automation test run using tools suchas cucumber report Extent report etc
  • Abilityto quickly adapt to new tools and evolving technologies
  • Must have the ability to clearly communicate with peersbusiness analysts and subject matter experts
  • Must have the ability to listen to customers andcolleagues convey ideas effectively prepare writtendocumentation
