Key Responsibilities:

1. Technician Management:

· Prepare and maintain technician shift schedules, ensuring optimal utilization and coverage.

· Manage technician attendance, leaves, and time-off requests, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with company policies.

· Track and report technician productivity and performance to the department head.

2. Inventory and Store Management:

· Oversee inward and outward movement of materials and consumables in the store.

· Maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring stock levels are updated regularly.

· Issue materials as per project or job requirements, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.

· Conduct periodic audits of stock to ensure accountability and minimize discrepancies.

· Generate purchase requisitions (Raise Indents in MS NAV) and coordinate with the Purchase and Accounts departments to ensure timely receipt of materials.

3. Coordination and Communication:

· Act as a liaison between the Welding Services Department and field staff, addressing operational requirements and resolving queries.

· Follow up with dealers and clients for pending payments, ensuring timely collections.

· Coordinate with internal teams for material delivery, project updates, and client requests.

· Collaborate with the Administration department to ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of the workshop.

4. Administrative Duties:

· Maintain records of all administrative activities, including shift schedules, material movements, and communication logs.

· Prepare reports on operational metrics, such as material usage, technician performance, and payment collection status.

· Support the department head in preparing budgets, procurement requests, and other documentation.
