Assistant Manager Finance/Accounting

Assistant Manager Corporate Accounting is responsible for supervising the corporate accounting activities, with constant focus on end-to-end billing process, collection & ensuring proper revenue recognition in accordance to US GAAP, as well as maintaining proper documentation on policies and procedures relating to billing, collection, revenue accounting and accounts receivable.

- Planning, directing, & coordinating all accounting activities including but not limited to ensure smooth month end closing activity from Accounts Receivable, Revenue Accounting, Monthly Accruals & account reconciliations.
- Maintains and enforces a documented system of accounting policies, procedures and internal safeguards
- Evaluating Accounting and internal control systems
- Job involves supporting & coordinating with on-shore team based out of US offices, and hence requires flexibility to work in any shift and/or on Indian holidays as well.
- Oversee the operations of the accounting function, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives.
- Train, develop and lead the accounting team with the goal of maximizing the strengths of each team member to create an efficient, high functioning team.
Graduation (Bachelors) in Business, Accounting or Finance; Masters degree will be an advantage
10+ years professional hands-on accounting experience, including 3+ years of supervisory experience
Exposure to other popular Accounting applications, such as Tally, QuickBooks
Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal with problem solving ability
