As an Associate Director, Investor Sales, you will manage sales of markets products for the Financial Institution clients in India in a way that supports the business growth agenda and priorities including:

Developing an optimal Institutional customer base in India for the Markets business. Identify and target clients based on size of potential share of revenue (focus on high-value clients that require individual servicing from a relationship and product specialist perspective). Execute Institutional sales as a product specialist together with relationship managers, credit and relevant enablement teams which drive total NPAT/revenue contribution of Markets. Ensure credit risk is managed to budget. Identify and target desired clients, building a pipeline of deals, through the development and implementation of coordinated marketing and sales strategies to increase breadth and depth of distribution of Markets products to the Financial Institution customer base in India. Act as a key contributor for the build out of the Markets, India franchise by identifying client needs and translating them into ANZ Markets, India capability in terms of products and services.

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:

Proven experience in client solutions structuring in relation to markets products and experience in a sales capacity at a major financial institutions. Solid understanding of the wider financial products and the interaction of markets products (currencies, rates, commodities, equities and capital markets transactions) with other bank wide products. Thorough understanding of markets products in the India markets context (on the client sales side) including suitability for client needs. Sound communication and interpersonal skills in particular client liaison. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with key internal stakeholders (Operations, Market Risk, Finance, Legal, Mid Office etc.) Tertiary qualifications of post graduate degree in relevant discipline.
