As an Associate Director, Investor Sales, you will oversee the sales of market products to Financial Institution clients in India in a manner that backs the business growth agenda and priorities, including:

  • Building an optimal Institutional customer base in India for the Markets business.
  • Identifying and focusing on clients according to revenue potential (prioritizing high-value clients requiring personalized service from a relationship and product specialist perspective).
  • Executing Institutional sales as a product expert alongside relationship managers, credit, and relevant enablement teams to drive total NPAT/revenue contribution of Markets.
  • Managing credit risk within budget.
  • Identifying and targeting preferred clients, creating a deals pipeline through the development and execution of integrated marketing and sales strategies to expand the distribution of Markets products to the Financial Institution customer base in India.
  • Playing a significant role in expanding the Markets, India franchise by recognizing client needs and transforming them into ANZ Markets, India capabilities in terms of products and services.

What Will You Bring?

In order to thrive and excel in this role, you should ideally possess the following:

  • Proven expertise in structuring client solutions related to market products and experience in a sales role at a prominent financial institution.
  • Solid comprehension of a broad range of financial products and how markets products (currencies, rates, commodities, equities, and capital market transactions) interact with other bank-wide offerings.
  • Thorough understanding of markets products within the context of the Indian markets (from the client sales perspective), including their suitability for client requirements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in client interactions.
  • Capability to establish and maintain effective relationships with key internal stakeholders (Operations, Market Risk, Finance, Legal, Mid Office, etc.).
  • Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant discipline.
