JobDescription

JobOverview: As a Customer QualityEngineer (CQE) specializing in electronics CQE will be responsiblefor ensuring the highest level of quality and satisfaction for ourcustomers by managing and enhancing the quality of productsprocesses systems and documents. CQE will collaborate closely withinternal crossfunctional teams and customers to address qualityconcerns drive root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions and drive continuous improvement initiatives.The role is pivotal in maintaining strong customer relationshipsand fostering a culture of quality excellence in the manufacturingline through continuous coaching & mentoring of the peopleand monitoring of the products &processes.

KeyResponsibilities:

1.Customer RelationshipManagement:
  • Serveas the primary point of contact for customer qualityrelatedinquiries andconcerns.
  • Establishand maintain strong relationships with customers understandingtheir quality expectations andrequirements.
  • Align& ensure the flow down of all customerspecific requirementsinto internaldocumentations

2. Quality IssueResolution:

  • Investigateand analyze customerreported quality issues related to productsshipped.
  • Workcollaboratively with internal teams including engineering testingwarehouse process and production to identify root causes andimplement effective corrective & preventiveactions.

3. Quality AssurancePlanning:

  • Developand implement quality assurance plans for the products includinginspection criteria testing protocols and quality controlmeasures.
  • Collaboratewith internal teams to ensure alignment with customer qualitystandards.
  • Earlyinvolvement and engagement during FAI process to understand theissues and demand actions prior to seriesbuilds.

4. Product Testing andInspection:

  • Overseeand manage the testing and inspection of product to ensurecompliance with customer specifications /requirements.
  • Coordinatewith production and testing teams to implement robust qualitycontrolprocesses.

5. ContinuousImprovement:

  • Drivecontinuous improvement initiatives related to product quality andprocessimprovements.
  • Collaboratewith crossfunctional teams to identify areas for improvement andimplement corrective and preventiveactions.

6. CustomerCommunication:

  • Regularlycommunicate with customers to provide updates on qualityimprovementinitiatives.
  • Ensuretimely and transparent communication regarding the resolution ofquality issues and the implementation of correctiveactions.

7. Documentation andReporting:

  • Maintainaccurate and uptodate records of customer interactions qualityinvestigations and correctiveactions.
  • Keepa track of customer complaints log customer returns log customerscores & customeraudits.
  • Generateregular reports on customer quality metrics and key performanceindicators.
  • Maintainyield reports / internal failure data tracking and actions inplace.
  • Trackthe ECN implementation and related documents updates and serialnumbers

8. Compliance andStandards:

  • Ensurecompliance with industry standards and customerspecific qualityrequirements for products &processes.
  • Stayabreast of evolving standards and regulatoryrequirements.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelorsdegree / Diploma in Electronics Engineering or a relatedfield.
  • Provenexperience in customer quality engineering particularly in theelectronicsindustry.
  • Strongunderstanding of electronic components manufacturing processes andquality controlmethodologies.
  • Excellentcommunication and interpersonalskills.
  • Problemsolvingand root cause analysis & 8Dexpertise.

Other SkillsPreferred:

  • Certificationin quality management (e.g. Lean Six Sigma AS Internal auditoretc).
  • Familiaritywith industryspecific quality standards and IPCA610 & JSTDClass3requirements
  • Experiencewith electronic testing equipment andtools.
  • Abilityto manage internal issues and keep regular internal communicationwith team andCFT
