Quality Assurance Engineer: 


 

Job title description:



·         being an active Scrum team member taking care of the quality of delivered IT solutions.

·         reviewing requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.

·         creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases

·         estimating, prioritizing, and planning test activities

·         designing and execute and document manual tests (on GUI and API levels)

·         identifying, recording, and tracking defects

·         defining and performing regression tests

·         tracking quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts

·         staying up to date with new testing tools and test strategies and continuously improving the test process in assigned project.

 

Requirements:


Skills and experience you will need.


·         good communication skills in English

·         min. 2-3 years of experience as a QA Engineer

·         hands-on experience with test automation in Cypress

·         knowledge about TypeScript/JavaScript and Cypress

·         hands-on experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases with the usage of test design techniques.

·         hands-on experience with API testing, i.e., REST, XML, Microservices, etc.

·         knowledge about tools supporting test activities (browser developer console, Postman, or other tools for API verification)

·         experience in software development in the Agile/Scrum process

·         experience with Jira or any other SDLC management supporting tool.

 

Nice to have:

·         experience with Jenkins or another CI/CD tool

·         basic database knowledge

·         Knowledge about Cucumber
