Job Overview


We are hiring a Senior Engineer for the role of SR- Exterior Trims. This role requires 4 to 6 years of experience and will be based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. It is a full-time position.


Qualifications and Skills


  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • 4 to 6 years of experience in automotive exterior trim design
  • Proficiency in CATIA V5 and CAD software
  • Familiarity with automotive EDA tools and processes
  • Strong knowledge of door seals, glazing, and brightware
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Design and develop automotive exterior trims, including door seals, glazing, and brightware
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective integration of exterior trims into overall vehicle design
  • Utilize automotive EDA tools for designing and validating exterior trims
  • Conduct feasibility studies and prototype evaluations to ensure quality and compliance with standards
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of exterior trim components
  • Participate in design reviews and provide technical expertise for continuous improvement
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in automotive exterior trims
