About this opportunity

Responsible for development of complex real time FPGA modules for multi-disciplinary state of the art 3D imaging medical systems. The Sr. FPGA engineer will be part of our FPGA team that deals with a variety of modules such as Image Processing, DMA management, high Speed communication, controlling of analog and digital circuits, etc. The Sr. FPGA engineer will be part of multi-disciplinary team working closely with other electrical and SW engineers, System engineers and algorithm developers. In this role, you will… Have end to end responsibility on development of FPGA modules: Definition of module architecture according to given specifications Write the implementation in VHDL, handle the testing & debugging, then integration and transfer to FW team. Work closely with other FPGA team members and other R&D members. Support debugging and modifications of existing FPGA modules. Write technical documentation describing the module design, its’ registers and how to use the module. In this role, you’ll need … BSc/MSc in Electronics Engineering Minimum of 8 years’ experience as an FPGA design engineer Hands n in Altera & Xilinx FPGA (Quartus & Vivado, including Xilinx SOC FPGAs) Knowledge in Verilog – Advantage Experienced with ChipScope/SignalTap debugging Familiar with external interfaces such as USB2, USB3, I2C, SPI, and capable of reading data sheet of other components (e.g., ADCs and DACs, etc.) Familiar with verification methodology Experience in estimating power consumption using Altera & Xilinx tools. Experience in a similar job in companies with multidisciplinary machine products is an advantage. Experience as a board designer is an advantage. Knowledge and capabilities with Python/C/C++ etc.is an advantage. Personal skills: Capable to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines Detail oriented an organized Responsible Self-motivated & hard worker Fast learner Has a system approach A creative and initiative person Has good communication skills (oral and written).
