ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Overview

As the Data Governance Implementation Lead , you will play a key role in execution of global Data Governance Strategy/Operations initiatives, which will help drive cultural as well as practical change in our approach to management of data. This role contributes to the fundamental understanding of how the organization creates and uses enterprise data and assists our business functions in achieving their data goals

Qualifications

8-12 years of experience including a degree in one of the following fields: Computer science, data science, business informatics, business administration, engineering or related as well as hands on experience in Metadata Management and related Data Management fields

Collibra Ranger certification/s or any other Collibra certifications(single of multi-level certifications)

Knowledge on building workflows and metadata ingestion interfaces as well as Data Mesh and Data Product implementation experience is a plus

Experienced in Product/Application Ownership, Business Analysis, Business Process Management, Business or IT Consulting or similar as well as ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms and business needs in technical specifications

Excellent analytical skills and profound expertise in making data-driven decisions and communicating the results of analyses as well as extensive hands-on experience in working collaboratively with product team members such as: product management, implementation team, data engineering, data governance, etc.

Strong customer focus and excellent communication skills along as well as ability to navigate easily in a global & multicultural environment

Result-driven and ownership mindset, excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders as well as passion for data and analytics, and driving data value across all parts of an organization and ecosystems

Responsibilities

You will play the role of Collibra Implementation Lead and subject matter expert on Data Governance Implementation program for the enterprise, that includes all aspects of metadata management, Data Lineage, Data Quality, Data Privacy, Data stewardship tools and platforms.

You will contribute and lead on implementation of Data Governance processes, primarily on Collibra.

You will help build data quality processes, identifying data quality issue patterns, applying remediation plans, implementation of data controls, and manage data quality remediation strategies within Data Governance Platform.

You will be part of Data Domain Assessments and Data Taxonomy initiatives, that includes building of robust Business Glossary for the enterprise in Collibra.

Maintain Program documentation and update operating procedures as necessary.

Familiarity with data privacy and data protection regulations and their implications on data governance.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders

Job Requirements

Technology, Business, Data Governance and management experience

Strong hands-on working experience on Collibra DIC.

Implementation experience on DG use cases like Lineage, workflow, Catalogue, reporting, data quality and data privacy.

Deep knowledge of business glossary and data dictionaries.

Proficiency in writing SQL queries and analysis on data and meta-data

Good knowledge of Visualization/Business Intelligence tools

Ability to communicate clearly and precisely with Data Stewards, Data Architects of varying levels of seniority

Ability to write and maintain Data Governance operating procedures and documentation.
