In this role, you will:
- Develop and manage an ongoing control testing schedule.
- Lead control evaluation teams on engagements with varying complexity and risk levels. Assigned controls must be well understood. Ensure the team's work is clearly documented and sufficiently detailed.
- Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development by managing and directing teams on strategy and execution of activities
- Communicate concerns to executive leadership in a direct manner that facilitates the achievement of shared company objectives.
- Prepare reporting and data analysis on your work
- Aligned with strategic objectives in Business Controls functional area
- Develop and guide a culture of Business Controls talent development to meet business objectives and strategies
- Knowledge on Control design, control framework, internal controls, IT audits and assessment, COBIT, NIST, information security controls, IT controls, ITGC, Technology processes such as SDLC, Configuration management, asset management, Cloud, BCP, Change Management, Problem and Incident Management, Access management, Asset Management, Patch and Vulnerability Management
- Knowledge on test of design (TOD), Test of Performance/Effectiveness (TOP/TOE), Control testing, Control QA, Manual controls, Automated controls
- Experience IT systems security, business process management or financial services industry experience
- Lead complex initiatives designed to mitigate current and emerging risks with broad impact
- Collaborate with relevant business group to identify current and emerging risks associated with business activities and operations, and provide guidance in developing and implementing risk-mitigating strategies.
- Lead Control Management projects and other initiatives
- 11+ years of experience in control testing, risk assessments of Information Security controls, reporting; or 10+ years of Information and Cyber Security experience of which must include direct experience in control testing, risk assessments of Information Security controls
- Must have any one Information Security certification (CISM, CISA, CRIS , ISO 27001 etc.)
- ICS (Information and Cyber Security) knowledge
- Must have strong knowledge on risk management methodology / regulatory guidelines required for financial service organizations / information security compliance/policies and ability to identify & contribute towards mitigating risk
- Strong knowledge and understanding of information security and ICS practices and policies
- Ability to identify risk exposures and enactment of appropriate controls
- Must have leadership skills, to be resilient and drive changes. Ability to maintain composure under pressure and deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Strong documentation skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, update and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in team environment
- Ability to make timely and independent decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear manner
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Strong collaboration and partnering skills
- Maintains familiarity with internal departmental and bank procedures and policies
- Must be flexible to work in shifts & be available for business meetings/team deliverables within/outside of ones shift
- Project management experience
- Mentoring skills to help the team explore ideas and make them successful
- Knowledge and experience on Applications Infrastructure in a Large Enterprise environment
- Have identified or contributed to Process Improvements in past organizations.
