This is an exciting opportunity for you to play at the helm of leading technology to adopt the benefits of cloud migration, especially AWS

 

You will own the migration plan from conception to execution. You will interface with senior level players from AWS, from the client and from THIS own delivery to master mind and execute the migration.

 

Who is this for and what will you do ?

 

You will based from  Bangalore India  work across geographies but primarily delivering to stakeholders in EMEA.

You will need:

Hands-on experience as a Solutions Architect with  demonstrated ability to plan migrations  to AWS as a primary competency.

 

What have you done ?

 

Total experience = 5-10 years in IT delivery and architecture , LLD or HLD.

Five years working on AWS migrations in a delivery capacity – involved in the nuts and bolts of migration from on premise to AWS

 

Primary Skills:

  • Hands-on experience as a Solutions Architect with focus on Cloud Architecture covering AWS as a primary competency.  Experience with other Cloud platforms is an added advantage but not mandatory.
  • Defined solution on Application development building blocks of AWS using single and/or multi-cloud strategy
  • Ability to find the right solution fit, i.e the AWS building blocks for the customer’s context. Knowledge of the “AWS Well Architected” knowledge base.
  • Define the Hybrid Cloud architecture using a combination of on-premises and Cloud
  • Work with a team of Cloud engineers (AWS / Azure/ GCP) to position specific building block with next level of technical detail in terms of technical specs, solution fitment, APIs, price models
  • Ability to define the infrastructure architecture (topology), including security architecture, high availability,  Cloud pricing strategies, and automation through FinOps.
  • Application Migration to Cloud – Rehost, Re-Platform and Re-Architect, including approach for data migration
  • Cloud Native Application Architecture – Microservices using Docker, Kubernetes, Helm Charts
  • Infrastructure as a Code – Automation using Ansible, Helm charts, etc.
  • Exposure to Cloud-based Data Integration solutions, AWS,  GCS – Dataflow, Data Catalogue, Azure, Big Query, Cloud SQL, etc.

 

Certifications (You have an advantage if you are certified):

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
  • AWS DevOps Engineer – Professional
  • AWS Certified – Advanced Networking – Specialty
  • AWS Certified – Machine Learning – Specialty

 

Secondary Skills (nice to have):

  • Cloud-based Integration tools such as iPaaS platforms – Snaplogic / Dell Boomi
  • API Management, Microservices
  • Cloud Native Application Development and Integration
  • At least one year of experience  interfacing with business analysts who define the priorities and drivers of the migration – as well as the expected load.

  • Responding to RFPs, defining and defending the Cloud solution
  • Participating in first level / second level sales call to represent our Cloud expertise, walk through of case studies and provide preliminary technical direction and approach (new logos)
  • Prepare whitepapers/blog posts related to different data topics based on our content calendar
  • Collaborate with Integration and data architects to align Cloud fitment
  • Engage with customers during the first engagement to identify the Cloud fitment, approach, architecture and required tools.
  • Demonstrate innovation and thought leadership in all the sales deliverables.
