Overview:The BIMModeler plays a crucial role in our organization by creating andmanaging accurate digital models of buildings and infrastructureusing Building Information Modeling (BIM) software. Theycollaborate with architects engineers and construction teams toensure accurate representation and coordination of projectelements.
KeyResponsibilities:
  • Create and developBIM models using Revit and AutoCAD.
  • CoordinateBIM models with architectural and engineeringdesigns.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness ofBIM models for construction andfabrication.
  • Collaborate with project teams toresolve design conflicts and issues.
  • Prepareclash detection reports and participate in clash resolutionmeetings.
  • Assist in the development andimplementation of BIM execution plans.
  • Providesupport for quantity takeoffs and cost estimation using BIMdata.
  • Assist in the creation of 4D constructionsimulations.
  • Stay updated on industry standardsand best practices for BIMmodeling.
  • Participate in BIM coordinationmeetings and project reviews.
  • Contribute to thecontinuous improvement of BIM processes andworkflows.
  • Provide BIM training and support toproject teams as needed.
  • Quality check BIMmodels to ensure compliance with projectrequirements.
  • Assist in the development ofasbuilt BIM models for facilitymanagement.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors toincorporate their models into the overall BIMenvironment.
RequiredQualifications:
  • Bachelors degree inArchitecture Engineering or relatedfield.
  • Proven experience as a BIM Modeler inthe construction industry.
  • Advanced proficiencyin Revit AutoCAD and other BIM software.
  • Strongunderstanding of 3D modeling and coordinationprinciples.
  • Knowledge of construction processesand building systems.
  • Ability to interpretarchitectural and engineeringdrawings.
  • Excellent attention to detail andproblemsolving skills.
  • Effective communicationand collaboration abilities.
  • Proficient timemanagement and organizationalskills.
  • Understanding of BIM standards andprotocols (e.g. COBie IFC).
  • Experience withclash detection and resolutionmethodologies.
  • Knowledge of laser scanning andpoint cloud data manipulation.
  • Familiarity withvirtual design and construction (VDC)concepts.
  • Ability to work effectively in a teamenvironment.
  • Understanding of sustainabledesign and construction practices.
