Job Description:

Weare seeking a highly motivated Manager Analytics to join our DataScience and Analytics team within Global Supply Chain. This is anindividual contributor remote (US based) position and will focus onbroad data exploration quantitative methodology and statisticalmodeling to enhance our supply chain responsiveness agility andoptimization. We are a productminded team who blends elements of UXdesign Product Strategy and Data Mining to build usercentric toolsthat bring insights into the evolving complexities of our supplychain. The successful candidate will thrive in a fastpaceenvironment has strong communications and consulting skills andloves problem solving using data.

Responsibilities of theManager:

  • Serves as athought partner to global supply chain functions including NetworkPlanning Procurement Materials Planning Logistics and Distributionto understand external variables learn internal landscape anddevelop relationships to successfully enable the delivery ofanalytics
  • Discovers new use cases for applieddata science and machine learning opportunities by exploringdiverse datasets assessing feasibility and designing prototypemodels.
  • Translate problems into specificanalytical questions and form hypotheses that can be answered withavailable data using statistical methods or identify additionaldata needed
  • Perform handson data analyses andmodeling to develop insights and recommendations to informdecisions across the supply chain portfolio
  • Delivers insights via welldesigned userfriendly andvisually appealing dashboards and reports
  • Build functional apps for advanced dashboards scenarioplanning and interactive analysis
  • Develop datawrangling workflows and database objects designed for businessconsumption (semantic views)
  • Applies UX andProduct Management approaches to ensure our deliverables evolve andcontinue to provide value over time

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5 years handson experience inanalytics data science or businessintelligence
  • 3 yearsexperience in supply chain operations procurement consulting lifesciences or related field
  • Excellent skills with exploratory data analysisand modeling using Python (pandas numpy sklearn) R orSAS
  • Strong SQL skills forcomplex querying analysis and performanceoptimization
  • Demonstrated experiencebuilding interactive data visualizations using tools suchas Plotly Dash Quicksight Tableau
  • Experience sourcing merging and cleansing datasetsusing tools such as Databricks AWS Glue AlteryxPython
  • Experience workingon cloud platforms such as AWS (S3 Athena Redshift GlueSagemaker)
  • Practical experienceusing tools such as Github Jupyter Notebook and Jira
  • Foundational understanding of data warehousing conceptsdesign modeling and data engineering
  • Experience working with large scale ERP such as Oracleand SAP
  • Ability to work independently initiateand drive work to conclusion
  • Exceptionalcommunication and presentation skills across a diverseaudience
  • Understanding of user experiencedesign principles product management and agilemethodology
