JobBrief:
We are seeking aSenior WordPress & Shopify Developerresponsible for both backend and frontenddevelopment including creating WordPress & Shopify themes andplugins. This position requires a combination of programming skills(namely PHP HTML5 CSS3 and JavaScript) and aesthetics(understanding element arrangements on the screen colour and fontchoices and so on). The candidate should have a strongunderstanding of industry trends and content management systems.Experience with responsive and adaptive design is stronglypreferred. Also an understanding of the entire web developmentprocess including design development and deployment ispreferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Designingand building responsive and mobilefriendly websites optimised fordifferent devices andbrowsers
  • Writing cleanefficient and welldocumented code using languages such as HTML CSSXML andJavaScript
  • Implementingand maintaining website content managementsystems
  • Troubleshootingand debugging issues to ensure websites are functioningcorrectly
  • Staying uptodatewith the latest web technologies and industry trends to ensure thewebsite is current andsecure
  • Creating andmanaging databases for websitefunctionality
  • Ensuringwebsite accessibility and security to protect sensitive data anduserinformation
  • Maintainingand updating existingwebsites
  • Testing both newand current websites and correcting potential errors that mayarise


SkillsRequired:
