Key Responsibilities
Deliver secure, scalable, and easy-to-maintain WordPress solutions using engineering best practices and relevant coding standards.
Write test cases for all the code you develop.
Write and maintain technical project documentation including inline code commenting, Git repo readme, and clear commit messages.
Respect timelines and communicate progress proactively. We are a remote team, so proactive communication is very important.
Help other engineers on the team through architectural reviews, code reviews, and other peer reviews.

You should be proficient in
WordPress Block Editor / Gutenberg.
PHP, JavaScript, Ajax, CSS & WordPress.
Ability to do security & performance audit of the application
Version control systems such as Git.
Experience in building WordPress plugins/functionality.
WordPress actions/filters API.
WordPress Metabox API.
– Creating plugins from scratch as per the requirement, without customizing the core
codes.
– Developing custom responsive themes from scratch using Twitter Bootstrap.
– API integration and development.
– Payment gateway integration like PayPal (Standard, adaptive, pro, express), Stripe,
SecurePay, , Sage Pay and more.
– Integrating and customizing WooCommerce, BuddyPress.
– Woo Commerce custom module development
