Role:
Droom is seeking a Corporate Development and Investor Relations professional with an exceptional pedigree to join our dynamic team. This role will involve collaborating closely with the founder to support capital raising activities, strategic initiatives, and investor relations efforts. The ideal candidate will have 2-6 years of experience in finance or consulting, with strong financial modelling and valuation skills. Additionally, candidates with an MBA from Ivy League colleges such as IIMs, ISB, or similar prestigious institutions, with a focus on finance with a scholar profile, are highly encouraged to apply. Excellent communication, analytical mindset, and domain knowledge in E-Commerce, automobile, and tech sectors are essential. Responsibilities:
Prepare investor presentations, pitch decks, and financial models to support capital raising activities. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. Perform valuation analysis to assess business opportunities and investments. Support due diligence processes for potential acquisitions, partnerships, or investments. Develop and maintain relationships with investors, analysts, and other key stakeholders. Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to support corporate development initiatives. Conduct market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and industry research to identify trends and opportunities. Stay abreast of industry developments and market trends to inform strategic planning.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related field; MBA from Ivy League colleges such as IIMs, ISB, or similar prestigious institutions preferred. 2-6 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, big four, or management consulting. Strong financial modeling and valuation skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Analytical mindset with attention to detail. Relationship-building and networking abilities. Domain knowledge in E-Commerce, marketplaces, automobile, SaaS, tech products/solutions, consumer tech. Scholar profile with demonstrated academic excellence.-
