As the Head of Investor Relations & Corporate Development at Cars24, you’ll be at the heart of shaping our growth story. This isn’t just about managing investor relationships—it’s about crafting compelling narratives that excite stakeholders, secure strategic capital, and drive our ambitious goals forward. If you’re ready to lead with insight, influence, and strategy, we want you to join our journey to revolutionise the automotive industry.
- Investor Relations Leadership: Build and nurture relationships with current and potential investors, analysts, and stakeholders. Position Cars24 as a market leader and exciting investment opportunity.
- Financial Storytelling: Craft and deliver powerful narratives supported by data that communicate Cars24’s performance, growth strategy, and vision to investors, analysts, and the public.
- Strategic Fundraising: Collaborate with leadership to identify and secure capital from global investors, ensuring we maintain an optimal capital structure to fuel our growth.
- Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends, competitors, and market dynamics. Use this knowledge to guide strategic decisions and adjust our investor relations strategy as needed.
- Corporate Development Strategy: Identify and evaluate potential M&A opportunities, strategic partnerships, and investments that align with Cars24’s long-term objectives.
- Stakeholder Communication: Prepare investor presentations, quarterly reports, press releases, and other communications that inspire confidence and excitement in the company’s trajectory.
- Collaboration Across Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams—finance, strategy, operations—to align corporate initiatives with broader business goals and ensure consistent messaging to investors.
Who’s the perfect fit?
You’re the one if you:
- Are a qualified Chartered Accountant with 10+ years in investor relations, corporate development, or investment banking.
- Have proven success in managing investor relations or leading fundraising efforts in high-growth organizations.
- Possess a deep understanding of financial modelling, valuations, and market dynamics.
- Have a strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn complex data into actionable, clear insights.
- Are a strategic thinker who thrives in fast-paced, high-stakes environments and is ready to tackle new challenges head-on.
