We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Associate, Payroll Administration to join our People team. This role is located in Pune, Maharashtra – Hybrid

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

  • Responsible for end-to-end payroll process, including payroll transaction processing, reconciliations, reporting, tax and other statutory payments return filings, Risk and Compliances.
  • Collaborate extensively with external payroll vendors/internal project teams or regional/global payroll teams.
  • Responsible for all aspects of payroll processing transactions are in compliance with internal and external payroll and time and labor laws, policies and procedures.
  • Create and maintain a customer service environment in which the position will support and assist with the customer/business partner inquiries to drive value added services.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of pay calculation rules not limited to new hires, termination, time processing and payroll adjustment for assigned market and general understanding of local laws governing payroll processing.
  • Audit, maintain payroll and time keeping records in compliance with established standards.
  • Comprehensive understanding and maintenance of process documentation, and controls; SLA and policies adherence
  • Comprehend payroll challenges and drive solution by challenging status quo, execute process and improvements.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HP/Payroll operations experience.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, vendor management, control, and customer servicing skills desired.
  • Understanding of APAC payroll tax laws, processes, and policies
  • Knowledge of HRIS systems/SAP 
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast moving and rapidly changing matrix environment.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office including excel, word, power point and outlook.
  • Should be a graduate /postgraduate.
