A typical day ofa Senior Project Manager(NonTechnical)in August

As aProject Manager(NonTechnical) your typical day wouldneed:

  • You will work as part of an overallteam often composed of clients and Augusts resources to deliverapplications that drive meaningful value and change for ourclients.

  • You will lead teams and have linereportingresponsibilities.

  • You will closely work with the salesand participate in the repeat clientmeetings.

  • Youwill:

    • Manage clients during the projectlife cycle

    • Manages conflicts and issues withinteam and with clients

    • Manage projectbudget

    • Decide processes and SOPs to befollowed for theproject

    • Responsible for project qualityprofitability and timely execution of theproject

    • PE ofteam

    • Onboarding mentoring and coaching tothe team

    • Project tracking and makingreports

  • Joint Responsibility with TechnicalLead:

    • Weekly Project Demo to theclient

  • Reports to VPDelivery

  • On top of regular delivery work youprovide our clients with advice on digitalchange

  • Meaningfully contribute to agileceremonies including grooming planning scrumsretrospectives.

  • Over time we build out insights andknowledge of the industries that we workin.

  • Providing night support with thesupport of the team as and whenrequired.

  • Acknowledging clients urgentmessages and emails within a reasonable time frame even during offhours.


Requirements

Asa Senior ProjectManager (NonTechnical)you will havea:

  • Bachelor or higher degreeor PMP certification is aplus

  • Experience managing web / mobile /enterprise solutions in a professional developmentenvironment;

  • Experience leading a team(nontechnical part) working with others tosolve problems sharing knowledge and canhelp grow and mentor theteam;

  • A passion for digital transformationand technology;

  • Experience in agile developmentenvironments including ceremonies such as backlog refinement andsprint planning;

  • You canworkindependently as well as in a highlycollaborativeteamsetting;

  • You balance logical problem solvingwith innovativethinking;

  • You like building positive clientand peer relationships by developing an understanding of customersbusiness and projectscope;

  • You can contribute positively toteam culture with a focus on inclusion anddiversity;

  • Identifying potential opportunitiesfor additional revenuegeneration;

  • Developing analytical and insightfulrecommendations to meet deliverable targets and complete projecttasks within budget and to customersatisfaction;

  • Identifying communicating andsolving conflicts or issues toTeam;

  • Assisting in the development ofclient proposals;

  • Strong written and verbalcommunication and presentation skills(English)
