Job Overview


We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Female Senior Accountant for our Ambattur office. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience in mid-level accounting roles. This is a full-time position based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.


Qualifications and Skills


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
  • Proficiency in using Tally and other accounting software
  • Experience in general accounts, GST filing, TDS, and purchase management
  • Good understanding of PF rules and regulations
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Manage the day-to-day financial operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports
  • Maintain and reconcile bank statements and cash flow statements
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, financial regulations, and company policies
  • Handle taxation matters including GST filing, TDS, and PF
  • Manage purchase accounting and vendor payments
  • Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process
  • Provide support during audits and tax assessments
  • Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff
  • Stay updated with industry trends and changes in accounting standards
