The Technical Lead/Solutions Architect is acornerstone in our Digital Architecture Delivery team bringing thelatest technical thought leadership and architecture/design skillsto lead cuttingedge solution design/development to align withbusiness objectives. In this pivotal role youll evaluate andadvocate for innovative platforms and products designing scalableand robust architectural patterns. Your remit includes optimizingcloud efficiency ensuring system reliability and establishing bestpractices across development teams. You will partner with internaland external teams ensuring seamless integration of DevSecOpspractices and managing the full lifecycle of our technologicalsolutions.
Roles &Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scopesand deliverables that meet individual business unit requirements aswell as enterprise requirements.
  • The supportproject team works with the business team to identify and documentNFRs for system performance security scalability and data privacyas well as various other dimensions of NFRs.
  • Support team members in developing and maintaining thetechnology roadmap and portfolio landscape documents for one ormore portfolios to guide longterm technology investments anddecisions.
  • Evaluate technology platforms andproducts and make recommendations that align with business goalsand enterprise/portfolio technical direction. Evaluation couldpotentially include RFI/RFP running handson or vendorled POCefforts assessing the solutions fit within our technology landscape& meeting functional / nonfunctional requirements.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive Solution architecturedocuments (SADs) ensuring they are updated with the latest changesas the project progresses sprint by sprint.
  • Design solutions for NFRs and other key concerns such astechnical maintainability operational reliability crossregiondisaster recoverability and costeffectiveness.
  • Recommend and design cloudnative and/or hybrid solutionswith a specific focus on securing access to the applications userinterfaces APIs and infrastructure using technologies such as OAuthSAML AWS IAM rolebased access control etc.
  • Recommend and design integrations between cloudnative andhybrid systems using appropriate enterprise integration patternsand best practices accounting for security performance and othernonfunctional requirements.
  • Recommend anddesign cloudnative and/or hybrid infrastructure solutions withspecific considerations on compute load balancing HA/DR &storage architectures for highvolume web apps. Proficient indesigning AWSspecific infrastructure solutions using a wide rangeof services including Route 53 CloudFront WAF API Gateway LambdaECS EKS S3 RDS DynamoDB ELB VPC IAM CloudWatch Amazon Connect SQSetc.
  • Support the lifecycle of ArchitectureReview Boards (ARBs) Design Review Boards (DzRB) and SecurityReview Boards by preparing and presenting technical materialsnecessary for various technical and nontechnicalaudiences.
  • Incorporate enterprise directionsuch as API first / Cloud first architecture and softwaredesign/development principles such as SOLID 12factor design insupporting project team create a detailed technical design forprojects working closely with technology managers/project managersdevelopment scrum teams and crossfunctionalarchitects/SMEs.
  • Provide developmentaloversight and technical guidance to the dev teams during projectimplementation phases including making technology selections andadhering to industry best practices and guidelines andstandards.
  • Innovate and design forenterpriselevel and portfoliolevel reusable.
