Primary position
Objectives

 • We are looking for an innovative Civil Engineer to design, develop and construct a huge range of projects of the physically and naturally built environment from conception through to completion.

Key responsibilities

1. Analyze prototype data and retest if needed.
2. Research new product ideas and methods.
3. Improve existing products and processes.
4. Ensure compliance with the industry's safety standards.
5. Maintain accurate records.
6. Ensure products are user- and environment-friendly.
7. Write detailed reports.
8. Find creative design solutions to problems.
9. Present prototypes and designs to project managers.
10. Manage, design, develop, create and maintain small-scale through to large-scale construction projects in a safe, timely and sustainable manner.
11. Conduct on site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings and other)
12. Carry out technical and feasibility studies and draw up blueprints that satisfy technical specifications.
13. Assess potential risks, materials and costs
14. Provide advice and resolve creatively any emerging problems/deficiencies
15. Oversee and mentor staff and liaise with a variety of stakeholders
16. Handle over the resulting structures and services for use
17. Monitor progress and compile reports in project status
18. Manage budget and purchase equipment/materials
19. Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety etc and deliver technical files and other technical documentation as required

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES

• Good Communication skills in English language, both oral and written.
• Qualification – Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering - Minimum Experience -3/5 years.
• Proven working experience in civil engineering.
• Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as Auto CAD Civil 3D or similar.
• Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, regulatory approvals etc
• Project management and supervision skills
• To have good knowledge of Auto CAD.
• To have good knowledge of word, excel & PPT as well as software.
