We invite you to bring your strong knowledge in rail track design into play as you shall co-ordinate with Project Manager and Manager/ Principal Engineer and be primarily involved in delivering the scheduled tasks in the form of design and drawings. You will join our Rail team
As our new Permanent Way Design Engineer, you will be part of a world class, innovation driven engineering design center owned by an independent trust and its employees. You will collaborate with your colleagues to play a critical role in delivering on projects that involve multiple clients in countries across Europe, primarily in Germany. REC is a highly sophisticated center of engineering excellence and based in our India head office in Gurgaon. Working in partnership with all our established offices globally, the Ramboll Engineering Centre (REC) is a center for excellence in design by offering optimized solutions to the rest of the organization.
Your key tasks and responsibilities will be
Carry out track designs and provision of technical support throughout to support all stages of design. Independently deliver / manage the production of design deliverables in accordance with client requirements. Review the work of less experienced engineers and CAD technicians in the team and maintaining quality of deliverables, Overseeing and troubleshooting the work of geometric design of P-way/Rail tracks, guide the less experienced engineers in carrying out the design and preparation of the drawings. Keep up to date with industry best practice and where appropriate apply best practice within the team environment. Proposes approach to solve new problems encountered. Provides guidance to entry level engineers. Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with little supervision.Your starting point for constant growth

We are looking for self-motivated team members who meet the following requirements:
BE/B. Tech degree in Civil Engineering from an institute of repute. ME/ M. Tech would be desirable Should have 10-20 years of experience in P-way design. Knowledge of rail design codes and other international standards would be desirable. Knowledge of understanding of the analysis and design principles of Track & P-way Design, Regression Analysis of existing Railway Lines, design of Depot/ Yard Design Have hands on experience in using ProVI design software Should have knowledge of tools like AutoCAD/ MicroStation and preparing drawings in accordance with internationally recognized standard formats Understanding of multi-discipline railway design interfaces Have technical / functional acumen, he should have good communication skills and should be able to present their work. Should be a good team member, self-motivated and should coordinate with other team members and the project manager for timely delivery of project Good communication skills (English language skills in written and verbal) and the ability to work within a small team whilst having a dedicated approach to working within and meeting strict project deadlines

Software’s Required - ProVI, AutoCAD, Open rail, Rail track, Power rail
Experience Required - 10-20 Years
Location – Bangalore
Should have worked on International Rail Projects.
