Role Description
This is a fulltime onsite Oracle Database Administrator rolelocated in Bengaluru. The Oracle Database Administrator will beresponsible for daytoday tasks which involve databaseadministration replication troubleshooting and databasesecurity.

Responsibilities:

Install and configureOracle database software based on organizationalrequirements.
Manage database security by handling usermanagement and permissions effectively.Monitor database performance continuously to ensureoptimal operation and response times. Performtuning and optimization of SQL queries and database parameters forimproved efficiency. Develop and implementbackup and recovery strategies using Oracle RMAN tools.Regularly test backups to verify data integrity andavailability. Plan and execute databaseupgrades and apply patches as necessary. Stayupdated with Oracle releases and promptly apply securitypatches. Collaborate with development teams todesign and optimize database schema. Conductcapacity planning and implement scalability solutions asneeded. Investigate and resolvedatabaserelated issues and incidents promptly.Perform root cause analysis and implement preventivemeasures. Create and maintain technicaldocumentation for database configuration and procedures.Generate regular reports on database health performanceand availability. Implement and enforcedatabase security policies and procedures.Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations andcompany policies.

Qualifications

Experience in Oracle Database AdministrationDatabase Administration and Troubleshooting.Experience in Database Replication and DatabaseSecurity. Strong analytical and problemsolvingskills. Ability to work collaboratively and ina team environment. Strong communicationskills Bachelors degree in Computer Science ora related field. Oracle Certified Associate/Oracle Certified Professional (OCA/OCP) certification is aplus.
