Anideal candidate for this position should have a strong backgroundin skilling preferably tech skilling and programmemanagement.

TheAssociate Director will be responsible for efficient and effectiverunning of the programme and for driving the overall strategicdirection of the program. They will have to ensure 10x more youthin sustainable careers over the next 3 years.

PrimaryResponsibilitiesinclude:

  • Strategisethe roadmap for the team for the next 5 years and setting up theobjectives and key results accordingly foreachyear.
  • Identifythe skills that are currently in demand in the industry and ensurewe build the curriculum that provides exposure and handson trainingfor the youth.
  • Overseethe efficient and effective daytoday operations including effectivedelivery of the sessions assessments impact evaluation volunteermobilisation communication budgeting &finance.
  • Buildstructures systems to support the execution of the programmes witha focus on continuous learning improvement and rapidgrowth.
  • Collaboratewith Academic Institutions NGOs corporates fundersgovernment & the community toincrease the reach and impact of theprogrammes
  • Reporton the timely implementation of the goals for the project to theexecutive management committee and theboard.

OtherResponsibilitiesinclude:

  • Advocatethe importance of skilling programs for underprivileged youth inthe ruralcommunity.
  • CreateLearning and Development programs for the trainers to ensure theyare updated and also building inhouse capacity of taking up newindustryadvancements.
  • Collaboratewith Bhumi teams and partner NGOs who work with similarbeneficiaries and extend support for upskillingthem
  • Collaboratewith the Bhumi s civic and corporate volunteering teams to maximisevolunteerengagement

PreferredEducation Qualification /Experience:

  • Minimum10 years of experiencein the social sector and at least 2 3 years in theskilling sector is preferable.
  • Priorexperience in project management andleading teams is mandatory.
  • AnyGraduate.

  • Shouldbe entrepreneurial have a growth mindset excited by challenges andopen tolearning
  • Shouldhave an good understanding of either IT Skilling or the Skillingecosystem generally orboth
