Job Description

Responsibilities

Observe current outreach, lead to revenue, and opportunity generation processes, immerse yourself in team metrics and regional nuances, and identify areas for improvement at scale Recruit, develop, manage and train and global team of Sales Development Engineers and Sales Development Managers/Team Leaders. Collaborate with Sales and Product teams to optimize opportunity volume and quality, delivering the defined pipeline of qualified opportunities Strategize with Sales Leadership on headcount planning and recruit additional high-performing leaders and individual contributors to the team Deploy strategic thinking to drive higher lead conversion, break into key markets, and accelerate ramp time for new SDE hires Support the mentorship and development of the SDE staff, preparing team members for career progression and expanded leadership opportunities Liaise with Sales Operations and Enablement to generate data analyses and determine training curriculum priorities to minimize onboarding and ramp time Ensure we efficiently and effectively qualify inbound demand as well as develop outbound strategies per region while leveraging digital and field marketing resources for particular campaigns Plan, forecast, and understand ramp-adjusted capacity to ensure the team operates effectively, in tandem with the needs of our sales organization and the supply of inbound and outbound demand Partner with regional managers to develop campaigns that align with their regional goals based on a territory plan Partner with IT and Sales Operations to ensure the SDE team has the best tools to do their job, and that they are configured to ensure SDE efficiency and productivity Manage SDE reports and dashboards to ensure the results they deliver can be easily understood by stakeholders throughout the organization and offer valuable insights

Qualifications

You have at least 7+ years of experience in growing sales organizations, of which 5+ years have been focused on scaling global SDE organizations with experience in fast-paced technology companies Proven track record of delivering sales pipeline from large enterprise accounts managing outbound prospecting teams Responsible for creating and iterating the business development process, methodology, campaigns, hiring profiles, training, and enablement Power user of salesforce.com, SDE performance/activity management software, and analytics and reporting tools. Ability to drive cross-functional alignment and coordination across sales and marketing teams Ability to attract, retain, and motivate exceptional SDEs and team leaders
